The Leviton Decora Smart Wi-Fi 2nd Gen Motion Sensing Dimmer, D2MSD, along with the My Leviton app, allows you to go hands-free with lighting control. The dimmer automatically turns lights on when you enter a room and off when you leave, with features like ON/OFF, Dim/Bright control, and built-in motion and ambient light detection. It is rated for 450W Incandescent/Halogen, 300W LED/CFL, and 450VA Magnetic Low Voltage. This smart dimmer can be controlled from another wall location in your home, and is compatible with the optional DD00R Wired Dimmer Companion or DAWDC wire-free Anywhere Dimmer Companion. A neutral wire is required for installation, and it is compatible with 2.4 GHz networks. The product comes with a 2-Year Limited Warranty.

If your hands are full or you can't reach the light switch, the D2MSD dimmer allows you to go touch-free by automatically activating lights in rooms like the laundry room, closet, pantry, bathroom, garage, and more. You don't have to worry about leaving lights on as the motion sensing feature saves energy by turning lights off when they're not needed. Additionally, the light sensor keeps lights off until they're required, creating a comfortable ambiance with full-range dimming options.

You can control multiple devices with motion using the My Leviton Room Response feature, and also use Apple Home to manage your HomeKit scenes and accessories. The dimmer offers customizable fade rates for gradual lighting adjustments, as well as preset light level options for personalized lighting preferences. At night, automatic softer lighting is provided in areas like the kitchen for a midnight snack or in the bathroom using My Leviton Night Settings.

Voice control is also possible with the dimmer, as it is compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Siri. You can use the D2MSD as a dimmer switch for LED/CFL (300W), Incandescent (450W), or Magnetic Low Voltage (450VA), or as an on/off switch for non-dimmable bulbs in fluorescent lighting. It can be installed in single pole or 3-way configurations, and is compatible with DD00R/DD0SR Wired Companions or DAWDC/DAWSC Anywhere Companions without the need for additional wiring.
